Drew this for a friend for her upcoming birthday! I’d rather be early with a WIP than be late… and never potentially post anything.

Anyway, she absolutely adores my character but I normally never draw him with short hair, or as a human. SO. Here’s a human, hipster!Alan (I forgot the glasses, but ehh.) He hates jackets but loves vests… likes being comfortable but also fashionable. I figured if he were living in the English speaking countries of modern day, this is what he’d wear. I’m not sure if he’d wear a hat or not… potentially, as long as he wore the glasses at the same time, I guess. xD

Another wip shot. Yup. I’m rather undecided of what to have Loki wear, specifically….

But then, there’s the reverse issue. People make my UNDEAD VAMPIRE WHO CANNOT GO OUT IN THE SUN TOO DAMN TAN AND HEALTHY LOOKING (OMG, THE WORLD IS GOING TO END). /dies laughing 

And I’m not allowed to get offended? Excuse me? (I’m pretty lenient, unless it’s a commission, but I haven’t had any issues with commissions thus far). Although, I’ve been pretty lax about colours for my characters’ skin tones overall. Granted, a majority of them are white, but I have other characters that are dark skin toned, I just don’t draw them or even if I do, how often do you see me colour things?

OH, and I suppose I should mention that Alan’s WIFE is dark-skinned? I just have only ever drawn her once:

Point: I draw all kinds of different people/races/species/body shapes/genders (I have a herm as well as gender-shifting characters) along with a multitude of sexual orientations and gender expressions in all of my characters. Just because I draw a white gay dudes most often doesn’t mean that’s all I ever draw.

Just letting you guys know, I hate these whitewashing POS artists, myself, but if they get the skin tone off just by half of a shade, even I fuck up my own character’s skin tone by a shade or two. So, just, I suppose what I’m saying is just be forgiving, okay?
